Jason is entering his 13th year at Oglethorpe County, 12th as the head coach.

He has 16 years of coaching experience.  He coached 1 year with Taylor Brooks at Oglethorpe County as a volunteer assistant coach (2003), 3 years with Jeff Segars at Loganville as an assistant pitching coach (2004-2006), and back for one as an assistant at Oglethorpe County with Brooks (2007) before getting the head job in 2008.

Jason played baseball and football for Oglethorpe County in high school and graduated in 1999.  He went to Georgia Southwestern State University out of high school for 3 years and then finished up his Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics Education at the University of Georgia in 2004.  He obtained his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership at Georgia College and State University in 2008 and his Educational Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Liberty University in 2014.

He currently teaches mathematics at the high school.

He also assists Matt Allen as an assistant softball coach.
